.. I was very pleased with the way the scanning turned out. I know some of the slides were in bad shape as they had some water and other damage through the years. Using a photo editor, I was able to get very nice prints from all but a few of the nearly 400 slides that I had scanned. I am using them as I put together 3 generations of family photos in new albums. There was probably another 50 or so that already had prints made many years ago. In retrospect, I was sorry that I didn't send them for scanning as the prints that I got from your scanning and my editing were much better quality. I plan to get them together and send them to you in the future.
I also want to thank (you) for giving me some good advice about resolution and other things when I called her before I sent the slides to you. She was very helpful.

I JUST finished up the image (Medium format panoramic stitch) - tried it again as a color - but it definitely works much better as a black and white. It is BEAUTIFUL ! Your scans did make a real difference...... Just made a 65 inch wide black and white on my Epson 9600 printer and I wish you could see it ! I'm very pleased.

In general, I'm ecstatic. The quality is excellent. There were some pictures where there was some black spider webs, see attached, but it is not a big enough problem that I want to sort through the slides, find them, and send them back to you.

Our note: The “black spider webs” are actually a sort of crackling effect on the film emulsion as a result of mildew. Unfortunately the Digital ICE wasn’t able to completely clear the severe damage from this scan.

Although some had the equipment for scanning slides, none could handle the square format (Superslides). One place offered to send them out to have the work done--at a cost of $15 per slide! Needless to say, your prices are far more reasonable. I also appreciate the quick turnaround, attentive service, and professional quality. I will certainly recommend your company to others.
